V1 is described as
-- 85 VPIP preflop
-- "mostly just limping" over 5 hours
-- fit/fold post flop
-- Sticky (I take this to mean likes to call, but doesn't raise much)
-- maybe never bluffs

All of a sudden, V1 has decided to go to war. You think this time is the time he's decided to finally push back against H? Unlikely at best. V1 has a hand here -- no doubt.

I think it highly unlikely he calls OTF with [44, 32, 64, 54, 94].

I think it highly unlikely he decides to go to war all of a sudden with 2p.

I think it completely reasonable that he slow played the nuts OTF.

IMO, his range is like 75% 87 and 20% 99 and 5% everything else [66,55, 65, w/e].

If it was HU vs. V1 alone I'd say this was a pretty standard bet/cry-fold.

But you have V2 who's still along for the ride. V2 can have a monster here too. And since both H and V1 cover V2, there's no dead $$$ from V2's stack H can scoop after getting it AI and losing to V1.

TBH... this is a pretty easy fold.

Wow you're all nits. The way people play live i'm never ever folding this hand. If he has a set we're ahead, he can have random 2 pairs, overs, top top....he literally has one hand that beats us. One.

The guy called down with TT on a J-high board and you don't think he can call the flop with 44 too? The question you have to ask yourself is if he flopped the goods why did he wait until the turn to start betting? Fish don't flop the nuts and wait for people to improve they just bet when they have it usually.

I see this sort of play every night of the week live so i don't know what sort of games you lot play in.

I play with a lot of nits and uber-passive loose players who sometimes don't raise with the second nuts.

Nice thread, tough spot.

Have to know the villain better, but I think I fold and don't tell anyone.

Actually I might even tell people.

We're 175BB deep, and V1 - who is probably playing like 85/2 (lol liveHUDaments) - just said hey man, I'm down for putting my entire stack in the pot on a connected board. I also discount the sets and doubt he springs to action with sets on the turn or on this turn card.

Yeah, I think bet/folding is fine.

You're also getting something like 1.4:1 (I'd treat V1's raise as an effective shove).

Likely to fall well short vs. V's very likely nutted range.
