He PFR probably more than anyone at the table and often takes down pots with a bet on the flop or turn.
1. you're probably right he opens wider folded to him in LP (I missed that detail) but even a 90% range is a lot worse for you than literally ATC.

2. given that you are such an equity dog, your postflop plan is spew. You will whiff and fold most of the time, and when you connect you will still end up having the worst hand most of the time and lose even more.

We're trying to force mistakes, right?
Hmmm...you may very well be right. Here was my thought OTF when I floated with the intention of raising OTT if many cards that increased my equity came: my pair of 3s were good more often than not, but I didn't want to call down with bottom pair to realize my equity. Now that I think about it, I basically agree with you (and others who have suggested it) that I should have raised more to get more FE, as I would much rather fold out better (or worse hands) than showdown with my perceived SDV hand.

Noted. So I should just never call this PF? A question: isn't this the same kind of logic for playing small (closer) SCs and PPs? My perceived IOs were large in that I believed he would multiple-barrel this situation in a high number of situations. I do flop draws less often and 63s probably flops many more marginal situations and hard to play spots than say 65s...so I see what you mean.
