V is a rec, semi - thinking player not steeped in mathematics. Mid 40's SE Asian. Likely books 50-200 hrs over a year based on table talk. Wide pre, but not in a monumental sense. Sees ~3 flops per orbit... maybe a bit more, but not as much as 4. Has some amount of post flop spazz exhibited usually through aggression. This hand happened a while ago & that's what I recall thinking of V at time of hand.
Hero has a nit image after ~90 min of play. I recall taking down some small pots. No big hands w/ showdowns from me thus far. I only played ~4 pots.
~$1.1k eff

SB = ABC type
Folds to hero OTB w/ T8o. Hero attempts to steal w/ $20 & both blinds call. Hero checks out a cocktail waitress across the room.

Pre good. Just bet less on flop and turn. Call turn is ok w top boat equity/best hand sometimes. Fold riv unless you're certain he's absolutely terrible enough to play an OP this way.

Villain is offering us 8-3 on the river so we only have to be good here 27% of the time here. Think we have to call a spazzy villain here. I can see him raising the turn with a pair and a gut shot or flush draw and then betting the river as a bluff after missing. I think 87 is a strong possible holding for villain too.

Whether the 8 brought a FD or not is pretty relevant.
Bleh. As played I'm calling river but not liking it. FWIW I could see folding turn or river versus some people.
