okay okay I get it, I kind of slow rolled him.. My first instinct was to call but I was trying to convince myself to fold because most of the time I call I feel like I"m beat...

You say the turn bet (1/2 pot) was smallish, but you're scared of a 4/5 pot bet ($2000 into a $2500)? You had to have known that was coming if you called the turn... unless you often see people betting 1/2 pot $1,250 and leaving $700 behind.

Yes your turn call makes you look weak, which is all the more reason you should be confident with your boat.

That river card is basically the best that can come... you drew out on a flush, and now all Kx hands are paying you off. If you're not willing to ship it with this river then you shouldn't call the turn. (just my opinion)
