I have QQ UTG. I open to $30. UTG +1 calls/UTG +2 calls/Button calls/BB Calls

($155) 976 BB checks, I lead out $100. Everyone folds except UTG +2 who calls.

($355) 2 I check and UTG +2 bets $200. UTG +2 has about $1,000 behind and I have him covered.

I've been playing for about 4 hours with UTG +2 and he's been fairly quiet. He's either been very card dead or just a NIT. UTG +2 hasn't played any hands with me, and the hands that he did play, I didn't do a good job of paying attention, so I have no reads on him.

On another note: (is everyone here able to remember each person on the table and their raising/calling/bluffing/folding ranges for the past 4 hours). i.e. I try my best, but I think I only pay attention to about 30%-50% of the hands that I'm not in. What is everyone else's percentage?

Hero?

Did I play flop and/or turn incorrectly?

i think you played it fine. UTG2 call with 2 players behind to act OTF is a sign of strength. he has all the 2 pairs/sets and combo draws on this board. esp with you not having the Qh in your hand.

lets look at the options. if you call (prob the worst option) you have to be prepared to call off any bet on non heart rivers. you could r/f setting your price for a c/c river. or just fold here and look for a better spot.

i would lean to a fold since a raise leaves the stack sizes awkward....and you are probably better off 3b AI here which is obv the high variance route...an interesting spot.

Maybe consider a smaller flop bet. its a very wet board and you're leading into quite a few players whose calling ranges interact pretty well with this board.

Once you get a caller, especially with players left to act, I like the turn check. This is where it would be nice to have bet smaller because then you have room to maneuver without fully committing yourself vs the turn bet.

As played, this hand probably finds a fold especially when the turn brings 3 to a flush. Villains calling range on the flop is very strong and a lot of their draws that you were ahead of now complete. They could be bluffing here, but I think folding QQ without the Qh and calling QhQx makes sense.

I can easily find a fold, esp to a quiet guy - 4hrs is a long time to be card dead, so I would tend to lean towards him being a nit.

If it's not a flush, it's likely 2 pair, if we call now how much are we calling later? (we don't have any flush blockers which helps the fold)

Flop is a mistake IMO. When you bet 2/3 in a 5way pot it is an immense show of strength…especially on this texture that favors your opponents ranges. To this size, your opponents probably fold out any pair that doesn’t have at least a gutter to go with it. If you bet small (<30%) you can get value from all the 9x. I would just check or bet small on the flop.

AP UTG2 calls your big flop bet with two uncapped ranges behind them, which is incredibly strong. I’m now preparing to check any turn that doesn’t bring us a set.

On this turn, I obv check. Fold to the big bet.

I go smaller on the flop or just check. Check/fold turn is fine, especially vs. this V.

I don't know a percentage, but I pretty quickly have a "type" for each player at the table and I use that when I'm in a hand with them (OMC, LAG, tight/passive, station, etc.). It doesn't take too long, and it rarely changes, so after a while I don't have to pay attention to every hand.

Flop is a check. Turn is a fold with no heart

I have good days and bad days. If I'm zoned in and not tired, playing with new people then I pay attention to 95% of hands.

But then I have days where I'm playing with a lot of familiar faces and auto pilot until I'm in a spot with someone I don't know and I have no clue about them lol

I prefer flop check my entire range here in this spot going for check/call, check/raise, check/fold with typical hand classes.

As played turn is a pretty easy fold.

Flop check, turn fold. I don't think u should be playing 5/5 yet if this is not clear to you.
Cheers

Flop is a check OP, as many have said.

Do you see why?
