5/5 nl at Bike during NAPT, nuts in multiway limped pot 5/5 nl at Bike during NAPT, nuts in multiway limped pot

The game is 5/5 nl with a 300 min buy in and a 500 max. I have 515 in front of me with no real image other than everyone joking about how young I look and how my fake ID must be really good.

MP2 is very bad, loose fish with about $350, he had called flop vs me earlier with 98 on Q65 in raised pot

HJ is middle aged, semi decent looking white dude with earphones and $500

I'm dealt J9 in the SB
UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, MP2 limps, HJ limps, I check SB, BB checks

Flop: T87
I lead for $20, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, MP2 calls, HJ raises to $60

Normally, because HJ's range is so strong here, I would 3b and likely get it in without thinking twice. However, because MP2 is so bad, I think flatting might be best here. If that's the case, lead turn or craise?

Just go ahead and 3b we don't want HJ getting out of the net here, its not like we're super deep vs MP and HJ is short or something.

I would flat. A 3b is too aggressive, who knows at this point if HJ even has a hand, he could be putting you on a steal and trying to re-steal with a big draw. If you 3b you only have a chance of getting HJ's stack and only if he has top set or better, if he is half way decent like your first impression of him. MP is likely to flat if you do, and you said UTG is still in the hand, what is in his stack? You calling will likely get at least one, if not both of the others to call for max value.

The place I always get stuck is what next, do we lead the turn or let the last aggressor continue betting?

3betting chasing out the other players. Super easy flat here.

The worse the players, the better the chance they will make a mistake. You have the nuts so your only concern is inflating the pot. If you flat here, other villains are extremely likely to call. Once they call, the pot is inflated giving you a greater chance to get there money in the pot.

The biggest mistake I see in live play is this need to treat it like online and shove-shove-shove when you have the nuts. This is a huge leak as you will fold out a lot of players.

If you call $60 and the others call, pot will be over $250 which will make it much easier to get more money in on the turn and river.

As for the turn, the other mistake I see is that players try to c/r the nuts instead of recognizing situations in which you can string your villains along because the pot is inflated.

If everyone calls, the pot will be $250. You can lead out on turn for $100. The reason I like this bet is because:

#1, anyone who calls the flop MUST call this turn bet
#2, there is a decent chance someone will raise you since it is a weak bet
#3, it inflates the pot meaning that villains will have to call a decent river bet for a huge percentage of their chips.

^^^This, on a blank turn. Lots more on a wet one.

donk 3-bet is too strong against 2 opponents.. let MP2 come in with his 109 or 89 and bink a sexy-stacking-6 OTT. if HJ is strong enough to get it all in OTF, he's not going anywhre OTT even if a 6 hits and he's got a set.

If a blank turn hits, i love dgiharris's suggestion of betting $100... because MP2 has to call, and HJ often shoves and you get soo much equity.
