bomb pot every dealer change. I have 82 in middle position.

Button has $1K behind. He only sat down literally 30 minutes ago and I've never played with him. No info, but he's not a maniac/action player. I have him covered

($200) 834 Everyone checks to me and I bet $100. Button calls and everyone else folds

($400) 8 I lead out $200 and button calls

($800) 9 Hero?

Sort of a messy situation against an unknown opponent because there are a couple of options that might be best depending on villain's play style. Playing an unknown I like check/evaluate best. With a plan to call a small bet and probably fold to a large one. Your hand is pretty readable as being 8X and you have the worst one. This opens you a bit to being bluffed off but it also means you beat no value hands.

Id bet $50 on the flop to push all the garbage gutshot/overcard type hands out. Even x giving up isn't terrible. You are betting a lot into an entire table with a terrible hand.

On the turn you have a massively inflated pot OOP and you are still piling money in. I would x/c not bet out 1/2 pot the way you're playing it.

On the river Im done with the hand as played. You have the worst trips possible and V has every single 8x in his range. If you are lucky V has an overpair and is pissed off he got his hand in a bomb pot and is just hanging on out of spite.

50 on flop > 75 on turn > x/c river. Maybe even played this way its a river fold. There are no bluffs here, 52o 65o folds the turn.

Our having the 2h is actually pretty bad here, as it removes a few of the hands we’d like V to have on the turn (Ah2h, 5h2h, 6h2h)—this pushes his turn call a bit more heavily into hands that have us beat. (That said, he can still have Ah5h, 5h6h, 5h7h, 6h7h).

I think the best line on the River here is a small blocking bet, and then folding to a raise. Villain should not really be bluffing you much here (since you have all the Full Houses), and this way you can still get crying-called by a stubborn over-pair.

But it’s very close between that and check-calling. (I would prefer check-call if your 2 wasn’t a heart.)
