game is 9 handed 5-5, $500-$800 buy in - a typical very loose live game. Villian #1 is a dangerouse, somewhat thinking lag. Not a winning overall player but can go on big runs of can make life difficult if I'm out of position. He will raise any 2 cards from any position & as a result, is very difficult to put on a range of hands. He raises the same amount preflop with A's as he would with Q,3 off. Post flop - he bets small(1/2 pot or less) with made hands & bluffs - doesn't base his bet size on the texture of board. If he gets any piece of the flop, he will not fold his hand. Villian #2 is a straightforward loose weak player. I am viewed as a solid tag.

Hero($1800) SB
Villian #1($1200)UTG -
Villian #2($2k)Button

Stradled pot($10), 4 limpers -

Hero A,Q Spades - completes stradle, BB checks, Villian raises to $40 total. 3 callers, I just call?

Flop($200)
Qd, 7c, 3c

I check, villian #1 bets $120, Villian #2(button), I call( planned on mabe checkraising a blank turn).

Turn ($560)

9d

I check. villan bets $200, Villian #2 raises to $550. I fold

My question is this - Should I be check raising this flop over 200 BB deep? Do I want to play a big pot o/p vs villian #1 with this hand based on the description of him? If Villian #1 has any piece or draw on flop he will NEVER fold - which means that I may have to play for my stack in this spot. Maybe I'm playing like a nit - I'm not sure..Let me know what you think. Thanks

Generally I don't like CR'ing with one pair against a LAGgy Villian 200BB deep. Lead the flop for pot, it will make the rest of the hand much easier to play.

I thinks its a huge leak to slow play AQs here especialy against v1. the way you played it is exactly how scared money would play.

as played definatly c/r this flop. villians ranges are very wide.

yeah -after thinking about this for a few days I think I agree with you. I have not been running good lately & think my judgement has been off... As you said, his range is very wide & in this spot - I have to be willling to go for my stack with tptk.

You played your hand as passively as possible on every decision. I'd put in a big raise in either pre-flop spot and failing to do that, pot the flop

I'd make a raise pre and lead out on the flop. You can re-evaluate if you still get raised on the flop/turn.
