5-5 homegame, my first time but played w/most of the players elsewhere.MIx of good LAG and TAG, 2 monkeys, and a maniac. Stacks 300-1000. I'm at $ 525.
The game has a sleeper straddle, anybody can straddle whatever amount in whatever position, as long as the UTG does not call the blind (block).
8-handed. Maniac in UTG +1 straddles to $10, fold to me in the SB, i raise KJ to $60 total. UTG (lag older guy) and maniac throw the chips in .

Flop: 3 4 J

I bet $150. UTG thinks for 15-20 sec., and shoves for $ 340 more. UTG +1 mucks.

???

You say UTG is a LAG. That means you call him with top pair/second best kicker when the all-in bet is less than the size of the pot. A LAG could have many hands KJ beats.

I did neglect to mention that no pot that villain won made it to showdown. His OOP calls, ultra blind def. , loose flop calls led me to label him a standard LAG.

While not the toughest of decisions, is tpsk really a standard call given this line (obv. drawy board, pot-odds 2.4-1, right opp. to call down etc.)...

Keep in mind that in home games like this concepts like fold equity, pot odds, hand ranges are quantum physics subjects.

Yes, get your money in. If I were the villain (I play pretty LAG myself), I would push with any two hearts, a pair + flush draw, 65, 52, a raggedy two pair, or a set (I think we can rule out overpairs due to the preflop action). You have too much equity against this range and too shallow a stack to be folding here. Just hope your hand holds up. Otherwise, reload.
