I have about 450 in chips. First to act with pocket aces. I make it 50 to go. Get one caller on the button. Good player and has about 700 in chips. Flop q 7 8 diamonds and I have A of diamonds. I bet 100 and get called. Player is type that if I ckeck he will fire 250 with or without goods. Turn is 2 spades. For fear of his 250 bet I bet another 100 and get called. River is a blank.

Best I can do with post. Let me hear thoughts.

Sabr42,

I'm looking for help not sarcasm. How would you play the hand?

Unless I read the hand wrong, you basically have the nuts.

So I would try to get all my chips into the pot. From your description, c/r turn sounds like the best way to do that.

As played, shove river or something.

In this thread, OP freely admits that he's afraid of money.

CRAI turn. If he calls with a flush, well, you can always try to do business.

thanks for the posts.

River was a blank and he fired 250 and I folded. He showed the flush.

If you only have $400 and the pot is $100 on the flop, you flop an over pair with the nut flush draw, you want to get the money in here every time.

If you are positive he bets when checked to every time, check raise all in on turn. You want to get the money in. IF he checks back, thats only bad because you are less likely to get paid when a diamond hits (and he likely would have called a bet with Kd anyways).

Given reads CRAI on turn. Can't be results oriented, he had a flush this time, but that does not mean that he will have a flush here every time.

Your good here most of the time, and when your not, you still have decent
equity, which is very important.
