5/5 $300-$500 buy-in at Hustler Casino in Gardena. We are playing short handed and have been enforcing a $10 straddle, this table is the only 5/5 game running. We are 6-handed to start the hand.

V1 in seat 3 CO$~2100) is a younger asian reg, he is sitting with $2k.

V2 in seat 4 BTN($~600) is a younger hispanic semi-reg, he seems like he is relatively comfortable playing and looks like a poker player.

V3 in seat 5 SB($~900) is a middle aged asian semi-reg, he is slightly distracted and just came back from a cigarette break. He is on the phone with his ear pieces I think or he's talking to seat 4. He is playing pretty stationy and wearing a black hustler la sweat shirt. One hand I think he folded 99 from straddle when I opened 5x from CO with AQ. I think he might be starting to want to call me lighter but will still fold to strong resistance. The night before he took 2 buy-ins off the table and hit and ran us pretty well.

V5 in seat 6 BB(~$300) is an older middle aged white semi-reg.

V6 in seat 7 Straddle($55) is an older middle aged white recreational type.

Hero in seat 9 HJ($460) has a tight image, I have played tight against other players and have yet to become active. I am a winning reg however nobody really seems scared of younger white kids. Some people might even view me as lag.

Preflop (20): Hero opens limps 33 from HJ, V1 calls from CO, V2 calls from BTN, V3 raises to $25 from SB, [Villain seems really indifferent about the hand, he is distracted and talking to someone and although this sometimes is a sign of strength, I do not think villain even has 88+ here. I put him on KQs, AJ, AQ, AQs maybe 77-99.] V4 folds BB, and V6 raises all-in for $55 from straddle. Hero 4bets all-in...

Spoiler:
CO folds, BTN folds, SB tanks for 2 minutes, he is really tossing this decision around in his head, he looks at me and then eventually decides that he is calling and he seems to think this is right.

Flop (1000): Q98
Turn (1000): T
River (1000): 7

Thoughts?

I think the straddle needs to be considered a raise here thus SB already 3bet raised most likely to call any re-raises. The straddle shoving all in is expected short stacked in this situation but for you to re-shove is kind of a strong move on your part IMO. I think you are trying isolate in this situation because any calls will have you beat or you'll be slight ahead against AK/AQ, and you know how you already said yourself he is a semi-reg acting uninterested yet he raised? Sign of a strong hand. I'm guessing now that your hand was called by SB with a medium pair because he put YOU on AK with that shove because if you had any real strong hand you probably wouldn't shove.

Okay well I really thought this was a kind of spewy shove. My intent was to try to flip vs straddle with dead money, and at best I assume flip for stacks against V3, unless he calls off 99 then im pretty thin. As it turned of he had AKcc and he bricked off. Still though this is probably a bad play overall, if I think I have fold equity would it justify making this play?

I think you're over estimating your FE, SB shows a nice strengh raising his sb after 3 limps.
Yeah, just thought that he raises to 25 (or 25 more don't know exactly) so it's only 2,5 or 3,5 straddles so yeah you can't really think he is nutsed except if he is the type of donk thinking "i have aces, i need to raise small, almost minraise to bring as many players as possible, to have a bigger chance getting some action"
So yeah i guess his range is quite wide because of the sizing and that doesn't really polarizes him, so yeah i don't think your shove is terribad, but yeah since someone shoved and you only have 33 that sucks, because even if OP folds (maybe he wanted to raise to 25 or 25 more, thinking blinds were 5 5 not 5 5 10) you have to beat BB and you will have something like 35-40% equity against him

you are putting 500 in a spot to iso $130 with a hand that is only 53.6% against random. not good.

Villain 7 who shoves $55 has no fold equity. Give him the top 25% of hands and he has 54% equity vs your 33. Why isolate him?

You are making an unnecessary play in this game/stakes. If you really want to get it in with the straddle raise close to the amount he has $50 which is slightly larger than normal (that's what she said) or if you are trying to trap dead money and your pretty certain straddle is shoving his $55 min raise so you can re-raise and get it HU with the dead money in the pot. Villians in SB w/Hustler sweatshirt has deeper pockets than you have (if he is who I think it is and I'm 95%sure), so him flipping for a rack means less to him than it does to you, I would look for a better spot. These games are generally so abc that you don't need to make these weird creative limp/shove type of plays...and I don't view you as LAG fyi
