5/10 Triple barreling with the nut flush blocker? 5/10 Triple barreling with the nut flush blocker?

Cross-post from medium-high stakes forum since I didn’t get to much feedback there

5/10, $1600 eff

Villain is MAAG, very loose rec player, VPIP ~60%, PFR ~30%. Shown to call down light - called with bottom 2p on a 3-flush, 4-straight runout against an over pot-sized river jam and won. Called down 3 large bets with KK on A-high board.

Hero with AK in UTG
Open to 35
4 callers, including villain in SB

Flop (185): 953
SB checks
Hero bets 130
BTN and SB call

Turn (575): 2
SB checks
Hero bets 345
BTN folds, SB calls

River (1265): J
SB checks
Hero? Have just under a pot-sized bet behind

Reasons for jamming:
- Bottom of my range, little showdown value
- Have nut flush blocker
- Nitty image due to being card dead for past 2 hours
- Haven't shown down any bluffs in the time I've played with villain
- Villain can have 9x w/ a club, KJx, QJx, hands I can fold out with a jam

Reasons for not jamming:
- My range is rather skewed towards bare A vs suited club combos here. A good thinking player would likely call me down here with any pair.
- Villain has shown a tendency to call down rather light
- I may still be good a portion of V's range: AxQ, KQx, KxQ, KTx, QTx.

Don't know any of the suits, but based on description of villain I probably don't even bet flop multiway here. And it seems horrible to try and triple barrel this guy afyer he's called 2 large bets in a multiway pot.

Having the nf blocker seems like it is even worse since he can't have the nfd calling you down. The blocker blocks his made nut flushes but with a vpip of 60 he's got a lot of combos of other ones. I'd rather not have a single club on the river if I'm going to fire the third barrel.

Your description indicates hes a total station so I would not three barrel him. You had a lot of equity and missed and he likes to call river bets just because so for that reason I give it up.

I don't mind the flop cbet and turn bet. Checking flop is also fine, I can see it being checked back a lot.

Flop bet seems too large, villains tend to have inelastic calling ranges on this sort of board.

With two callers OTF absolutely no way I am betting turn here, it's suicidal, you're just tossing money into the maw of a flush way too often.

As played I guess I'm giving up river because bet/bet/bet reps pretty thin here and villain is loose.

I’d start with a check otf 5-way. Ott i’d also check. Turn barrel against this exact villain imo is very very very spewy. Plus you got called in two spots 5way

Ap with just under half psb left i give up, he’s getting too great of a price to call and he’s a MASSIVE station

we've all been there, runouts are cruel at times

1/3 pot flop, c/c turn, c/f river
