Villain is UTG+1 and covers me. He is somewhat young, smart looking, stylish, white recreational player. I played with him twice before and he is pretty tight postflop. Preflop he can limp some suited crap sometimes but overall won't limp stuff like 36s (maybe 54s/34s tho).

Hero has been at the table for 30min and starts the hand with $650. Lost the only 2 hands that I played and didn't reload. I don't think I really have an image yet cuz both hands didn't go to showdown.

Preflop: 5 limps, Hero checks his BB

Flop ($60): 644
Checks thru

Turn ($60): 3
Hero bets $40, V1 calls, 3 others call.

River ($260): T
Hero bets $120, V1 raises to $600, 3 folds, Hero?????

Was thinking about c/ring or even c/cing river but rest of table was so passive IDK if any1 bluffs at it so I bet small to get looked up by one pair. I honestly wasn't expecting to ever get raised cuz I thought someone with a 4 would raise the turn to protect their hand, altho V1 was the 1st caller so theoretically he could have slowplayed to sucker more ppl in, I think?

Sorry what did you have? And idk often in these situations, especially live, and especially with tight players, you're being beat here. They aren't shoving like that without the nuts or close to it. Pretty hard fold all the same but that's what I'm leaning on (if you have the best straight)

Why'd you bet the river so small? Pretty annoying spot, but I doubt I'm folding unless I have more info that he can't be doing this with just a 4. Do you have 25 or 57? It may be close enough that 25 is a fold and 57 is a call.

I had 75o.

I don't think straight over straight is in play here, but if villain was stuck maybe I could be chopping with 75s if he decided to slowplay that OTT.

If you don't think he's likely to have a straight you should fold. There's almost no way he is turning something into a bluff. It is a little tougher because of your weird betsize though.

You can't pay him off, 43 is in his range. Is he tight enough to limp 10s?

600 is a huge bet, snap fold it.

He's defo passive enough pre to limp tens from EP. Don't know if he checks the flop with it, but anythings possible I guess.

Bet at least $180 on river. There's at least one four out there, so it should be a good spot for heavy river value. As played, easy fold. Bombing the river with the original better and 3 others left to act takes some serious balls that you gave no indication that villain possesses.

Clear fold, I think a lead otf seems like the best play. What do you think?

Why didn't we lead the flop?

If I'm gonna bluff this hand a c/r is much more effective than lead/lead/lead. Either way, I think checking the flop is the most optimal play. Also didn't want to get raised off my draw cuz these donks will pay me off when I hit.

You want to get raised off this draw or rep an Ace kicker trips. If your raised otf in a limp pot the optimal play is too fold not chase because you will get paid off sounds like a leak or gambling(spewing).

Edit: the key to drawing is some type of fe.
