5/10
EP loose passive fish limps (stack= 700)
Hero MP 6h6d to 40. (Stack=1.2K)
BTN LAG whale calls. (Stack =2K)
EP calls
3 ways
(135) flop 7h5s3s
X x BTN bets 55. EP calls. Hero XR 210.
BTN folds
EP calls
(610) turn 7d
X hero bets 450 all in?

Kinda crazy hand. Preflop I rolled a raise.
Flop I think I’m checking a lot of my range so I x here, planning to XC vs the BTN or possibly a delayed cbet if it x thru.
But when BTN bets and EP calls I think it sets up a XR squeeze spot, I can do this with overpairs and FD as well.

On the turn, I think I have the best hand here a lot now, and I need protection, (and value?). So I just jammed it in. I guess I block some 67 and I have 2 outs to boat, 4 outs to a straight if I’m behind.

This whole hand seems really cool but I could also be convinced it’s just a punt.

Check call flop. This is definitely a punt against a fish. Don't do it.

I don't hate it - but i'd rather have a better over pair unless he lays a hand like 88-TT down.

I think you win this a lot to be honest.

Flop xr does feel like a punt here. If it was only facing 1 player it would be a lot better, but vs 2 we are not getting enough folds.

As played, turn shove can't be too bad, but we didn't need to get here this way.

I was thinking the opposite actually.

Whenever BTN bets and the other guy folds, we get pot odds to call wider, so I think we use more hands as a XC. We can even XC a freq of naked over cards.

But when the other guy comes along as well, I think we’re now incentivized to XR as a post flop squeeze play. Now there’s more dead money, we cant really justify calling wide, and knocking out BTN to gain position on mr fishy seems good too.

This is all fine but I'm concerned that EP is pot-committed here given his stack size. Deeper I would like H's line more.

This

I don’t think this hand is incentivized to be turned into a bluff, particularly when we are 3 ways. Their ranges contain all the strong hands here so it doesn’t make sense in theory either. I’m cbetting flop for value/protection.

What do we do when B jams over the xraise?

I could easily see EP playing 76s this way but then you have the 66 to block half the combos and leaving only 76ss on the turn.

Hands like 44, 54s, Axss that you're still ahead of on the turn are faced with a tough decision, you win either way. Those seem like the most likely holdings.

So mostly just worried about slow played 55/33, & stubborn mid pockets or like 87s.
