5/10 game that plays like a 10/20 at times Villian in the hand is an older gentleman that likes to limp in with big hands and slowplay he generally bets big or raises when he has it once someone shows agression. I have seen him limp behind 2 players with Q´s and cold call a raise when it was raised behind him.

I´ve made a few moves but I haven´t shown down a hand yet I have been getting as much respect as you can in a loose passive game with lots of gamble.

checking behind seems like it could be costing yourself some value. maybe he has like jj or 1010? all draws seemingly got there on you. I might just check behind, only becuase idk really what else to do, maybe you could bet like 225 or something and just fold to a raise

you didn't want to raise the flop and start getting money in? there's a flush and straight draw out there

I took this line so that I could raise the turn and have a PSB left on the river, as well as not letting him get off of his hand cheaply. If I wasnt on the button I may raise the flop but its not a 100% raise spot for me since the board isnt extremely wet and villians range could be wide and mostly for value. By calling I was hoping to induce a raise and if a blank card comes on the turn I can flat villians turn bet and shove over a blank river.

Whats the difference in betting $500 and shoving for $700? If I bet Im not sure why I wouldnt shove.

I raise flop here almost always. As played check river. I just can't find many non-flush hands villain will call you with. I think lots of Str8s & flushes are definitely in villain's range especially after his small turn bet. It's also hard for you to get action from worse, as he will perceive you as having lots of flushes in your range. This is why you raise the flop. So scary cards don't kill your action

yeah i'd raise flop for value. By callling sometimes you risk losing value vs hands you could've gotten value from on the flop when scare cards hit turn. I think slow playing here is to induce insane bluffs. Do we have that read on this villain? Not really.

Raise the flop, balance with flush draws, get called by a bunch of random junk.

As played, bet/fold river like 450ish. A villain here is never raising with a bluff here provided he is not an outstanding LAG.
