$1000 eff. Tough table - tight grinders capable of making big and small moves basically. My image: young grinder but 80% of the table falls under this. Much tighter than table average. Only showed down the goods one time I did go to showdown within the last 1.5 hours.

Villain is a young bearded guy in glasses. Displayed sophistication and aggression by CRAIing a c-better OTF with OESD 2 hands ago and lost $1K and rebought. Other than that one of the tighter guys at the table in terms of VPIP and that's been his only big pot or even the only pot going to showdown in the last 1.5 hours.

V raises to $40 from UTG+1, 2 calls in front, I flat with 88 in CO, blinds fold.

Flop: Td5h6h Pot ~ $180 V bets $140, others fold.

Peel or not and why? Please provide a plan for future streets.

Even though he spazzed with his OESD that other hand, you still have to respect his cbet into 3 other people. If I'm calling here, it's to raise the turn when a scare card hits, assuming he's capable of folding an overpair.

Please don't do this.

Folding flop seems fine, since we will have to probably call multiple barrels on this type of board vs this type of opponent.

I don't know. I think he's capable of c-betting air into 3 people. But I really don't know. What do you think it is?

I don't think he spazzed, I think it was a good play. He kind of ran into the upper part of villain's range on that play.

You should probably get up from the table as you will get eaten alive.

As for actual hand, just fold as there is absolutely no reason to take a turn with this hand.

Just fold.

There's not nearly enough stack behind to do anything but fold here. If you were about 2500 deep I could see calling with 88 if you had a heart, but I would fold 88 no heart here with any stacks.

So why are we folding? We're now effectively HU since other 2 players folded so there's no danger of people acting behind and there is only overpair on the board and we have position. Is it because he has a much stronger range from UTG+1 than we do and because he wouldn't c-bet air into 4 people?

I've had hands HU where OR c-bet and I called flop with PP and one over OTF and other streets went check-check and I was good.

Unless you know V's tendencies to barrel/check and give up with air, best to fold flop. You're going to lose a lot of money paying to find out what he has otherwise. This is basically the same sitaution as your other thread with 99.

I don't play live but why would you cbet bluff with 3 players to act behind? His cbet here looks strong.
