Obviously it’s a weird flop for are hand. I kind of like your bet size. I would of just bet 200 and shove turn.

But your line is ok. But on this particular runout I think milking him with smaller bets is decent. If villain calls your 4 bet with any ace, the turn is tough spot vs your small bet.

Then the river pot is huge and if he has like ak he might toss it the call because pot odds

I don’t like the flop bet but I like everything else.

What hands are you checking turn with?

I like it, I think I play it similarly.

Turn is weird here.

V cannot continue to the river without a set. We have the board paralyzed unless V has exactly JhTh.

Given this fact, I'd rather jam it in on the turn rather than offer V good IO (~8-1) to pair the board on river. H is not folding any river. So for me, the small bet on turn is pointless.

He can have AQ and any pair with a heart that will call a small turn bet.

I would love to learn more about the pre-flop 4 bet sizing in this spot.

In general, it looks a bit smaller than my typical sizing, but I think it's because I have a more value-heavy 4bet range, so I go for ~2.5-3x IP, and 3x-3.5x OOP (100BB deep). This typically leaves me with ~1 bet post flop.

postflop: I like flop bet, but I probably just ship it on the turn (feels like how I would play my bluffs - though I probably only have KK w/out the Kh and KQ as bluffs here)

I know this is a good sizing in theory, but I'd like to see your reasoning explained.

well first of all you can bet range for 10% but you can't bet range for 25% so it's simpler

also it's a better size because villain has a lot of hands that are inelastic folds regardless of size like KsQs and using a size this small allows us to leverage our range's advantage which in this case is a higher weighting of AK and QQ, KK (QQ and KK no heart betting for 25% is a too thin)
