Villain is a so-so TAG. Seems a bit on the weak side as I haven't seen enough aggression from him over the ~ 2 hours we have been playing, but I don't have specific showdown hands I can point to. Hero has been playing TAG, and has won a couple of small pots with decent holdings at showdown.

Stacks:
- me $1k
- Villain covers
- Short-stack in the HJ $600

Villain opens to $35 in MP1, short-stacked HJ calls, I call in the CO with JT

Flop ($120): KQT

Villain bets $60. HJ folds.

Should I:

a) semi-bluff raise
b) flat with the potential idea of representing diamonds if villain's actions/sizing indicate he is concerned about them when/if they come?
c) fold

If TAG villain cbets oop into 2 ppl he probably has a hand that is most likely calling your raise or 3betting. I'd call and reevaluate turn.

b) You have position and decent equity, just outplay him in position on later streets.

No reason to raise here as that board his his range pretty hard. Call and re-eval. seems std.

d) Call for a new deck, since this one has two Ts.

I made it $200 and he folded. I kind of felt his sizing was weak given the texture, but then I started thinking that maybe I just ran into the bottom of his range and got lucky to get the fold, so I wanted to post the hand to get a quick sanity check.

If you do call IP to outplay - what is your plan on a turn:

a) blank
b) diamond

If a diamond comes and he checks, bet. If it comes a heart, bet or raise if he bets imo, unless he bets large, then just call.

i dont really like the flop raise even tho it worked out. ur hand is certainly playable and from this OP image u described i think even if u miss u can take him off the hand on the turn or river. the flop gives OESD, a pair and backdoor FD but it very likely smacks his range and if he repops ur in a pretty gross spot. think a flat call is pretty std here...im all for steering away from std with a little creativity when it seems profitable, i just dont know how profitable it is in this instance
