Villain in this hand is a good TAG. This is my 2nd session with him and I'm impressed by his table presence and solid play. Only history is this session is that I isolated a fish from MP, he 3bet me from MP+1, and I folded.

$1800 effective
I have AK I open to 35 from MP and he calls MP+1.

Flop: K J 4
I cbet 50, he calls.

Turn: T
b/c? c/c? c/r? b/f? c/f? why?

B/F

-His range is filled with pair + oe--> this is a great value spot for you

-Your range is nutty--> this is a bad bluff/semi-bluff raise spot for him

-You have like 10% equity against his raising range--> folding is nbd

My first instinct was to c/c, but that leaves us in a really tough river spot since villian may try to thin vbet you with his entire range which is mostly ahead of you. This is not a likely spot for villian to bluff you imo, so b/f is a little better. I have a feeling that villian will call turn bet and river decision will be purely villian/history/image and I think you will have to c/f, but with a looser image and some history 40-50% blocker bet could be viable. I have been finding lately this has been great for my game since my cbet % is ****** high and people will call me with any pair.

130/fold.

c/c turn here is tough if you're not balanced as you basically cap yourself at one pair, and capable villains can put you in horrible spots on most rivers.

I like 130/fold. Bet most rivers for value.

Okay sounds like the consensus is b/f. I wasn't too happy with my c/c line after and that's why I posted the hand. But please, play along.

I c/c. In villains eyes, you credibly represent AA, QQ, QJ, Q10. We get him to valuebet worse (KQ), and spazz with bruffs like QJ, J10, Q10, random spades.

b/f-b/c, no because leading the river narrows our range (we probably don't lead with AA,QQ).

c/r, no bc we are turning our hand into a bluff.

c/f, no bc we beat his bruffs.

on the turn, if bf > cc, i dont think its by much. b/f is standard, but u can def cc w/o giving up much.

ur range is somewhat capped here given ur cc turn. river is tricky because of this, and it'll probably depend on villain

c/r/f is my first thought, b/c is my second. (i dont think i can bet/fold river unless its near pot size or an overshove). c/c is ok, but i dont know where to place it between the other options.

this is pretty bad advice imo

b/f is notably bet than c/c it shud be pretty obvious why
not quite sure what the hell your last paragraph is about c/r/f would be terrible

gotta check the river after you check the turn. donking should allow him to play perfectly.
