I would wager the remainder of his stack. Pre-flop seems good in my humble opinion. Probably a lesser bet would have accomplished the same thing, though. The other player likely has a small pair but oh well. His stack size is inconsequential to the size of the pot. If you checked and he bet you'd obviously be calling so best to bet. Next time he wants to call with a low pair, you'll have a high one and take his money.
Then again, I wonder if he has AA and is setting up the slowest play ever. Seems weird to be limping in and just calling your raise when he's so short. Oh well don't matter. Once you get to the flop just put it in
Obviously getting it in 100% of the time but I'm wondering if check-calling is a better play to induce bluffs since you're getting it in anyways. You're check will either look weak and induce (to a bad player which this guy is to flat for $170 leaving $210 behind) or very strong allowing you to take it down on the turn anyways.
Shove preflop IMO, get a general fold then show your hand and say "I hate AK, always misses the board, i prefer taking the money preflop", you will have a funny image for the rest of your session and will make big value if you hit hard

not sure why your trying to induce with A high here? hes never folding any piece of that flop or any pair and is certainly calling off with worse A highs. just bet/get it in
Bet $300 and wait until the dealer or player says he only has $210 left and be like "oh thought he had more behind" (pretending to be disappointed) SNAP SHOVE
