This hand occurred over a week ago at the woods, but has been bothering me and I wanted to get other's opinions about the hand.
I was playing at a nine-handed $5/10 NLHE game at the woods and effective stacks are 500 dollars since that's what I bought in for. I was in the BB with AK suited in hearts. EP player (loose, aggressive) opened for $70. MP player (little loose pre-flop, aggressive post-flop) called, and button (uber-aggressive significant other of EP player) called. Pot was about $280 after I called out of the BB as well.
The flop came K72 rainbow. I thought there was a good chance my hand was best, but checked to see what action developed. EP checked, MP bet out 120, button thinks for a bit, then mucks. I flat call to see what develops on the turn and EP folds so it's just me and MP in the pot.
Turn comes a 9 of diamonds putting a flush draw on the board. I check and MP after thinking just briefly then shoves all-in after asking how much I had behind which was roughly 300 dollars. I know the pot is laying me some very good odds, but my thinking was that I only beat a random bluff here. I think it's very likely that he has a set here, deuces or 7s because 88-QQ likely reraises preflop.
After he shoved the turn, I tried to get a read by looking at his face/breathing/neck pulse etc but got no good reads although he did slightly twitch his eye about 17 seconds into me staring him down (does this mean anything cause I can't find it in mike caro's book of tells).
I lay the hand down pretty quickly after about only 1 minute of thought, but then MP is like, "tens good?" If he made a shove here with tens, I think that's pretty spewy. I'm not buying that he had tens.
Anyway would u call or fold the turn?
