Hero: Young, aggressive, 3bets with air frequently when sensing opponent is weak, might seem like a loose cannon to some. Stack: 250BB
Villain 1: OMC Stack: 200BB
Villain 2: Horrible reg, plays 60% of pots, tends to call big bets with nothing Stack: 100BB
Hero Button with 10 8 suited. V1 raises to 40 UTG, a few callers, V2 calls mid position. Hero calls.
Flop: 6 7 9 rainbow
V1 bets 100, V2 calls, Hero tanks and then raises to 300. While I was contemplating on what to do, some idiot sitting to my left (who was not involved in the hand) kept on shouting "Hollywood, hollywood."
V1 seems amused and folded, muttering "Hollywood?" V2 snap folds.
My reasoning for betting is that I put V1 on a big hand and that if V1 calls, I believe V2 will also call given that the pot has grown to 1K+
Since V1 and I are both relatively deep stacked, I wanted to play for stacks and hence the raise.
Did I make the wrong play because I was trying to be greedy on such a dry board? V1 folded AA, not sure what V2 had.
Probably raise larger here, since there are 10-13 action killing cards for us, and when an OMC takes this line he almost always has an over-pair. Unless you've seen evidence to the contrary, assume OMCs are unable to fold overpairs, and as such just raise until all-in. The presence of a drooler station makes raising even more desirable.
It's unfortunate that OMC happened to be the sort who can fold an over-pair, and that V2 reached his calling point with garbage (could have been as weak as 5x imo); however given the info we had available at the time, it's an easy raise for value. I'd probably go slightly larger to $350-$400, since there are so many bad turn cards for us regarding getting action on later streets.

You should flat or snap raise. I doubt v1 had an overpair any way.
hand is written a bit messy with "a few callers" and hence no pot size. If you think V1 folds an overpair there, flat. If he doesn't, raise bigger. It's most likely a call.
