V1 is a thinking player asian mid 20's guy. He pot controls alot and generally avoids big pots. From the 60ish hours we ve played together he literally always has it when he bets. He generally avoids playing with hero and sees me as v good/capable. But he never seen me do a big bluff.

V2 is a TAG who squeezes a bit in position. Plays somewhat straightforward post. Same image of hero as V1

Effective stacks $2,900

Hero open $35 MP 66, Villain flat, V2 squeezes to $150, H calls, MP calls.

Flop ($465): K54
Hero checks, V1 tank (15 seconds) then checks, V2 checks.

Turn ($465): 3
Hero $295 (plan is to overbet river bricks if anyone calls), V1 now raises $760, V2 folds. Hero calls
Okay so at this point Im almost sure he always has 55/44. I dont think he would raise KQss and I think he 3bets AKss a decent% of the time pre. Also I think he just flats AKo here vs me. Vs 55/44 we have 23% equity and we need 25% equity to make a call here. Assuming im going to bet a 6/7/2 ~$775and will get paid I think calling is fine. Plan is also to bombe river spades.

River ($1985): 9
Hero tank jams ~$2000.

Had a plan and followed through, he only needs to fold sets 1/2 the time. thoughts?

Is V the type to check back a set on this type of dry flop? If hes trappy like that is he also tight enough to lay a set down on the R?

I do like the fact that you had a plan, and its believable and you followed through however. NH

V1 checked to the agressor V2 in the hand. We were 3 ways to the flop, and I would expect him to check back sets 100% of the time here.

So he checked not closing the action.

If villain is straightforward, has it, honest and bets/raises with a strong range.

I'm not gonna attack a strong range with crappy hand & questionable blockers.

Also think most sets flat turn.

I like it. You can easily balance with 67 and backdoor flush.

I would have done the same thing if I has the same read.

If you need add bluff combos in your river jam here, 66 with a spade is the perfect one.

I like it, as long as you do the same river sizing if you had a flush too.

Ok you tell a story from turn and you want to fold a big hand (if effectively let s say Vilain has exactly a set)

2 questions i think essentials that are not answered here
- what is ur perceived range to call preflop 3bet oop? knowing that it will likely go 3 way if u flat and ur relative position is as bad as ur actual position. (if he thinks that u take all thise in to account?)
- does he think that u think u can get paid off OOP with a fd from the turn??

Line ok but need some history and image to fold a big hand in live poker imo

Would you really lead AQss on the turn into 2 opponents?

It is more of a question that would V think hero leads Axss, 6xss on the turn?
