The limp and reason for the limp in the OP is lol horrible. he knows it, thats why he wants to skip it. who cares what his general image on 2p2 is? we're talking about THIS HAND.

thats why saying the game is always going to be good implies you think he is bad based off this one hand, DUCY

Because even players that are 2p2ers, and who should know better, throw away money pre and expect to have it glossed over, not discussed. This is a losing mindset, people with losing mindsets lead to good games.

I would fold preflop because the aggro button is going to be raising a non-zero % of the time and it is a raise that we cannot call, so 20% - 25% of the time we will lose our 25$ outright without even seeing a flop.

V1 is pretty good TAG, we haven't battled a ton but he likely views me as as playing too loose and being rather stationy.

V1: 10k
Hero: 10k
Rest of table: a myriad of 2-10k stacks

V1 straddles btn to 25, 4 limps to me in the HJ I limp QT. Not too interested in discussion pre as I could open to 200 and we'd go to the flop 6 ways. V1 checks his option rather quickly.

Flop KQT

Checks to me I bet 125, V1 calls quickly, 4 folds.

Turn J

Here's where I begin to **** things up royally. I bet 250 with the intention of bombing blank rivers as the only Ace I can possibly see V1 showing up with is ATo (but he may even iso that pre).

V1 raises to 725.

I call?

River 6

I check, V1 bets 1175

Obviously a horrendous spot for him to bluff and he knows that. And he knows that I know he knows that. But what Ax can he have?
lol

LA I have no idea who you are but if you think NOTs a spot I'll bet a TON of money on him in a HU match v you providing you play a reasonable amount of hands/buy ins down. You can play online or live, I don't care, but I can almost assure you NOT has a better live presence than you too so despite being a live pro, it might be best for you to play online.

i agree with the above, and if my live presence is questioned, please look at the avatar 2 posts above for proof

The fact that you say he has a losing mindset is pretty judgemental considering it seems you are basing it off this hand alone. Also saying somebody who crushed micro and small stakes then did well at the hardest midstakes games online has a losing mindset is absolutely ludicrous because if anything he's proven to have the heart and mindset of a winner. He's a gamer a baller a shotcaller all He does is win /Tebow

He can have any bdnfd... Pre is fine. Flop is fine. Check turn and call one time if you want. As played, fold and challenge him to hu (obv) if he shows you a bluff.

I would never fold this hand preflop... ever. We have position on 4 limpers, I'm not that afraid of the button tbh we'd be giving up tons of EV folding this pre, even if we just played fit or fold.

As for the turn, I really don't like the bet at all or the call, but I'm in no position to tell Dan "Final Table every live tournament" Weinstein how to play poker. I haven't learned how to activate live soul read yet.
