Showing that hand would have been disastrous.

As far as the kid I bluffed, I didn't need to see his hand to know he had an 8. He wouldn't raise the turn without one because that fish would have called down literally any pair. He called down a triple barrel with top pair on a four flush board and I don't think he folded a pair or better the entire day. Even without knowing that, the kid didn't show any aggression at all the entire day... he def had an 8.

But yeah, showing would have been really bad. I don't want people to know what I'm capable of. I cold 3b another flop later that day too with air.

after reading the hand i dont know why people are saying this is a fold if villian 1 has a hand on turn he should be leading

ace 8 would never be a fold i guess 108 is closer but a8 is never a fold in this hand

LOL I like it when people swapped hero and villain, then described himself as a very good reg, and everybody is scared of his game. Kinda like Phil Ivey. LOL.

I'm talking about the fish, not the guy i bluffed. But yeah, he called down in some sick spots. The other hand I cold 3b him on the flop he eventually folded saying he folded bottom pair (lowest card was a 2 lol), but he made some absurd call downs. He was actually up huge, all on hero calls, until he ran into my nut flush and lost a 10k pot when I mashed pot into him on the turn and river. He eventually busted when he cold 4b / called all in with like a 3500 stack and mucked on KQJxx board when other guy turned up TT, lol.

Way to not comment until I post results after everyone said fold.

I kinda think villain could have a hand like A3cc and just making a semi bluff. Definitely click it back on turn. How good is villain, by the way? Anyway we can track his online results?

Lol, so you don't not raise pre cuz it seems expensive? Nh. Was reeeeeeeeaaaally thin knowing one guy had trips and two others were at the very least interested. Having said that, it's a pretty nice hero play provided no1 knows you/has seen you turn over a bluff in this spot before.

Also, what novel said.

i dont think you are wrong in anything you say just that you are giving this guy some serious credit for deep thought here. its easy to get a bunch of internet full ring nits to say fold but assuming hes trashing a bunch of 8s here is pretty meh from a few hours of play.

also i found it lol the way you described v1, thought that it was probably someone you knew well, or you yourself

I would have described Marccus85 that way as well, same with the PLO reg from FTP that i'm told is a bad ass and xmrstyle too who plays there.

I mean there's basically four types of people in these games: winning online cash players (marccus85 and brtn play there a ton), idiot MTT online pros moving to live poker, lol live regs, and fish.

folding A8 is ridiculous here.

This pretty much depends on how good you think villain is. With 2 fishes left in the hand, I have a hard time believing he is 3betting to this size that makes it so hard for the 2 fish to call with anything but an 8; which means it is not smart to raise so big with a good hand.

was first time i got to look at this thread been in process of moving but after playing a decent amount of live there should be no way v1 would check that turn against these opponents after it being checked around on floip with a big hand

they basically play almost the same in this spot not as much but besides for chop possibilites on river but j8 and q8 are going to flat the 480 most likely bescause if u make it 1400 witht hose ahnds waht are u doing to a shove? it would be turning ur hand into a bluff most of the time in this spot
