5/10/20 im in BB with AA with effective stack about 3k
villain has me covered has been running hot sitting on 7k

i raise BB to 80, straddle calls (has been very aggressive and even showed a flop 1/4 cbet bluff)

pot: 175

flop
T77r

i check, villain makes it 50 i call

pot: 275
turn:
9 (no fd came in)

i check, villain makes it 200 i call

pot: 675
river: 7

got the boat, and figured to let aggressive opponent bet with plan to raise.
i check, villain now makes it 1200 , 2x pot. i was planning to raise but with this sizing i was a bit confused.

Snap call. No idea how good V really is, but I would fold 10x and JJ to your jam so IMO you're never getting called with worse.

Really exploitative line so not much to say other than you got exactly what you wanted with the 2x river bet.

Prefer to bet this turn. Board has gotten wetter and I'd rather regain the initiative here against the V from STD who can be very wide as described. Yes he has more 7x but we have TT and 99 more often given that he would likely 3b them from straddle.

AP, V makes polarized bet on river after taking a value line on flop, turn. I'm not good enough to find a fold here and if he has the case 7, good for him.

Something with the potsize on the flop is off, but I doubt it matters.

I don’t see how we can do anything other than calling on the river against that super polarized looking bet. Sucks if he shows up with 99, but stuff happens.

It's a call, but not a fist bump the dealer call. IMO with this sizing he is polarizing his range to quads and bluffs.

This should never be an overpair, you said straddle was pretty aggressive so JJ+ would 3bet pre.

You lose to 99 and some 7x. Maybe straddle is taking a weird overbet size with Tx trying to get you to call with A-hi. Spazzy but possible. Rest of the time he’s bluffing. Like BCloud said Tx shouldn’t call if you raise all-in. Honestly, you mostly just have a bluffcatcher here, Tx shouldn’t take this size nearly ever… so I don’t think it’s very close to a raise or fold. Easy call.

Easy sigh call, but I don't like it. It's one thing to bluff 1/4 pot on flop and another to be bluffing here when H probably has a big pair so V only beats A high w/ a smaller FH.

Live I feel pretty great about calling although I rarely face over bets. I guess unless they have quads ��. In a 2+2 thread I guess it becomes sigh call or snap muck since the beat is probably why you made this, can’t imagine you folded. Results??
