^^^^ Yes, wouldn't you? But he probably shouldn't have even got to the river with tptk, which is what makes this hand so ridiculous. I am not saying it's likely he has a boat, obv it is unlikely, but my argument is that he has a boat more times than he calls with tptk/2 pairs.

I don't like my last post. It was too nitty.

If he had a set he would've shipped it in on the turn, or open shoved the river. He has an A, so shove. He's calling with AT, AK and maybe even AQ. Why would he call your turn raise and not anything on the river? He has to believe you are shoving your whole range on the river since the pot is so big. If he doesn't have anything, that sucks. Not as much as missed value though.

What was your image at the table, or what he perceived?

I checked behind. He had AK. he went on in the chat box about what is it with 2/4 donks calling with gutshots, like duh. I said because you can stack people like him who can't fold AK. So of course he said but you didn't stack me, you checked the river. Owned.

Yeah it's great when we know what he had after the fact, 20/20 hindsight etc. But no competent villain is calling the river with AK in a vacuum, and I assume my opponents are competent until proven otherwise.

I'm now convinced that this is some sick post for metagame. Yup, I see right through it.
