uh... i had almost exact hand liek this
1. def dont bet river, ujust sucked out on mid pairz so just take it to showdown i guess.
2. i dbl barreled/shoved river but i dont think its good play basically i dbl barelled cos i had air and i think many ppl call there with mid pairz (think i had Q44 board)..the genius checked me nuts 2 times, wp but woteva, i think dbl barrel is still good but on river he aint folding.

Yeah, dbl brl isn't bad, because you fold out all the small pairs. I remember considering it, but thinking that this guy was a bit of a station, and might easily call 2 brls with 88-99, even 22-66, not to mention A high hands.

Do you think he'd call a smallish river bet with 88-99 here? This type of player, I figured he would.

Hes always folding small pairs on turn(or raising i guess) and giving him 2 free outs when we have a relatively weak hand is fine. I think betting the turn is pretty bad. Given his preflop and flop line he is almost never folding anything better on turn.

Also im not sure if theres much value outside of making the hand easier to play by betting the flop either since again he folds almost all worse hands and calls with almost anything better. I still may bet though to pick up the pot and end the hand.

As played I probably check the river or maybe make a real small bet hoping to get a call from A high or 88 and 99.

Going for thin river value is fine, just know that you're b/fing. I like barreling the turn if theres a draw on the flop and you don't have ace high. Here I think barreling would be bad. So, nh if you folded the river.
