UTG + 1 is an average player, not horrible but not great. He doesn’t totally value position properly and he overplays his high cards as far as I can tell. He has played maybe 20% of hands and was not always best at showdown. Not much history with him. HJ is a passive calling station. History with HJ:

I raised IP w/QTo and HJ limp-called. The flop blanked 9-8-2. HJ checked and I c-bet, he flatted (we are heads up). The turn blanked out. HJ checks, and I double barreled the turn and he flatted. The river came an Ace. He checked and I conceded and checked back. He showed down AKo for a pair of Aces. Another hand I raised 5xpre with AKs IP and he limp-called. Board came out 8-6-3. HJ checked and I fired out a c-bet. He called and the turn paired 3’s. Turn and river were checked down and he showed 99. So he really seems like a station to me.

This hand HJ is betting out so I know he has a hand he values as strong. Given history, I doubt he is betting a flush draw. Given player type, he would wait for a flush and not bet a flush draw, right? What about UTG+1? Would he raise pre and check call the flop with a flush draw? I am putting him on a single pair type hands. Any possibility that he has a flush draw here?

I feel as though if a 4 or 9 comes off on the river and I shove, I will get paid off by HJ a large percentage of the time. Given implied odds and all, do I have enough in my stack to make calling the turn profitable? How often does HJ have to pay me off on the river to make this a +EV play? Is my stack too short? I have about $150ish I can stick in. I still have to worry about UTG+1. The double suitedness of the board makes this more complicated. What’s our play in this spot?

meh these are tough spots. i'll take a stab though. With another person in this hand, it's very likely you are up against a single pair hand, maybe something better plus a flush draw. This means some of your outs aren't clean. There's also the chance here that with UTG+1 left to act he could raise. Since you are in-between i'm probably letting it go at this point. If the 9d hits on the river we may make our hand but also be in second place. Also, reload.
