a little background on me and my dynamic at the table. im a mid 20's white kid, ive been at the table for about 3 hours and havnt really done anything that would stand out. pretty much just been card dead for the past hour or so.

villan in this hand is a tight player but is also a calling station. about 2 hours before he was involved in a 2k pot and called with an over pair on a very very wet board so i had him noted as a person that is a calling station and could call with worse hands

so im sb with pocket 10's and utg straddles for 10$ theres 6 callers including the villan in the cutoff. at this point my stack is 350$. i raise to 100$ and everyone folds to villan who calls

pot 250$

flop: k 6 8 two dimonds

hero?

i know with 10's theres not that many situations that we are happy about. with him being a calling station and maybe thinking im some young white kid that maybe if i shove here he will think im bluffing at it and call with somthing worse than 10's what do you guys think?

we are not actually 3 betting we are just raising the straddle
Awkward stack size spot, if we where deeper i would say bet/fold but since stacks are small this is a
shove or a check which is completely player dependent, what range do u credit a tight calling station??
DO u mean tight preflop and a station after the flop???

I think you should have completed and set-mined.

If this guy was loose passive id shove here for value/protection, but if we jam this flop we're stone bluffing vs a tight player's range of jj-kk,ak.. I c/f here.

This.

1010 doesn't play particularly well post flop. What were you going to do on this hand if you get two callers? You put in a third of your stack already and unless you get an underboard, you're in a really tough spot.

Just complete and hope to hit a set and stack someone.

This guy's l/c range probably includes 22-JJ, broadway-ish suited gappers and connectors, and random Axs.

This can be a tough spot if we don't know how the guy plays his draws. I would check the flop. If villain checked behind, I would shove any turn that didn't bring an ace or a diamond. Otherwise if villain bets the flop after we check, it's a pretty confident muck.

yeah my bad i dont know why i put 3bet, his range i put on most likely 6's-10's and maybe some high boradways like kq kj aj possibly ak and maybe high suited connectors like 89 suited and above. and my intentions werent to play a flop i wanted to take it down right there but also had insurance if i did have a caller and i would have felt fine shoving on a j high board
