Hero has been playing tight. Hasnt gotten out of line and has a tight straight forward image. V2 has been losing and making loose calls. Sb has been playing a little weak tight in my opinion.
First question is do i raise straddle, second is my river decision.

The game is 9 handed 3-5. Table agreed to all do a round of straddle.
Preflop:
UTG (525)
EP V1(200)
EP+1 V2(350)
MP (800)
MP+1 (400)
CO (300)
Button (300)
SB V3 (350)
BB V4(125)

Hero is Dealt Ad6s

Hero straddles, 4 callers

Flop(50): Jh3c7d

sb checks, bb checks, Hero bets 35, Ep folds, EP+1 calls, sb calls, bb folds

Turn(155): 2h
Checks around

River: Ah
Sb checks, hero?

Raising straddle is dependent on how you play straddles. I probably let this go as a check, assuming I am good if an A hits, as against a straddle live, A8 or A9+ is usually raised (therfore, I have the best ace unless someone is sandbagging).

Given that logic, I bet $60 - $80 on the river, espeicially considering that, given the earlier reads, you would expect a call from JT type hands.

A6 is not a hand you want to be playing in a raised pot

check the flop

c/f the river

This isn't a raised pot. This is a straddled pot that btl981is the straddler. And try and refrain from making (and subsequently thinking) blanket statements. There are times and places for all hands.

Whats wrong with betting this flop?

Why would you want to c/f whats most likely the best hand?

id make a smallish river bet here.
however i would never lead out into this pot on the flop. a straddle round makes callers and you are getting called here in this 5 way pot on the flop especially with a less than pot sized bet.

^ I agree. Wouldn't bet the flop. But as played, would make a small value bet on the river. We most likely have the best hand a good % of the time here
