H has a tight pre-flop image but has made a couple bad river pay-offs (calling down other players with top pair when 2nd pair made trips on the river).
V is a mid-20’s Asian, who has played overnight into the morning. Seems generally solid. Hasn’t made much of a splash in this game over the last 3 hrs of play, but has been in active and spirited conversation with the player next to him who has been talking non stop.

With every combo of 43s and 43o being available, facing a 2.5x shove, this is a fold. Even 55 is a fold. QQ is probably a sigh-call.

against this size bet in a bomb pot imo you need the nuts. this bets smells like someone with 43 who just got nervous about losing to a flush.

Thoughts going through my head at the time: Would anyone slow play a wheel or set on the flop and shove that turn card? Could this be AQ?

Fold. This is the nuts. Yes, he could, would, and should slow play 43 on the flop. No, he's not turning top 2 into a bluff, when anyone can have anything.

flop looks not right to me (too big). meh at turn think its pretty close, seems unlikely to me he c/c the flop w a straight and then 2x pot jams the turn but idk its unlikely he does this with anything so who knows what his range actually looks like. alot of bomb pots end up very player dependent bc ppl have no idea what theyre doing. think it can't be that bad to fold if u dunno what to do but i think you will see more than the nuts here

My son says he doesn’t think this makes sense as a shove for value with any hand.
I called. Maybe not a good call. But V showed Ad9d and I made quads in the river.
