I am playing in a 6 handed live 3-5 game, and have ~$1300 in front of me and the villain has me covered. He is playing fairly TAG and is straight forward but likes to trap with really big hands. The villain is UTG. I had been playing more LAG than usual because I was hitting more hands than usual and was playing my rush and getting away with big bluffs (which I've showed every one of) when I didn't have a big hand. My table image would be someone you are looking to make a big hand against and most likely get paid off.

Preflop:
Dealt to Hero: 24
Villain calls 5, Everyone else calls, Hero checks.

Flop: ($30) A39
Hero bets 20, Villain calls (Everyone else folds)

Turn ($70) 5
Hero bets 50, Villain raises to 100, Hero...

I just hit my gin card on the turn and am now getting min-raised. His hand range here is very small and consists only of sets, two pairs, and mayyybe AK. I don't think he would limp AA, but it's entirely possible because I had done it earlier and and won a nice pot. I think his hand range is essentially, A9,99,55,44,A5,A4 in that order IMO. If I push all in here, or even raise 600, he would snap call or raise all in with any of these hands despite the over bet. Top pair is the nuts against me to these guys at this point, let alone a set or aces up. It wasn't a feeler raise it was a massage raise, in his mind he's got me right where he wants me there is no way I have 24 in his mind.

So here is my question, try and get it all in on the turn and hope I hold against a set/2pair, or call and see what happens on the river. I know that calling here seams extremely weak, but I think if any blank hits the river I am going to get paid off the same amount, and I am minimizing risk.

Tank for 1-2 minutes, 3bet the turn to $400, shove any non-ace river.

You have a LAG image, so your turn 3bet to $400 may get interpreted as a bluff, leaving you with a pot-sized shove on the river to get full value for your disguised monster. Even if it interpreted as a value raise, Villain will not put you on specifically on 24 for the nuts because you deceptively bet your gutshot on the flop.

As far as calling the turn raise and trying to get value on the river, that's ridiculous. You have the nuts in a small pot with lots of money behind, and you need to build up the pot to get paid off maximum value immediately. Luckily, you have a LAG image, so you can safely build up the pot on the turn without having your opponent worry about you having the nuts.

On top of that, there are certain cards on the river that can kill your action even if they don't give Villain a boat. Any of the 3 2's or 3 4's left in the deck will create a 4-card straight on the river, which would scare away your action.

Your probably right. I tanked and decided to call figuring I could CRAI on the river and get paid with any airball, but the board paired and I check/called 200 like a donk and lost to 9s full. Sigh
