1st post, long-time reader of 2p2

Hero is long-time winning limit poker (mixed games) player and winning PLO (live and online) player. Usually have played medium-highs stakes (2-5/5-10 PLO, 20-40 to 50-100ish mixed/limit games)

Have played a ton since early 90's, i'm in late 30s now, was playing mostly online until BF, purely part-time player but winning player over 1000's of hours live in aforementioned games.

I generally have stayed away from NLHE, have found it boring, but given BF find myself playing at local B&M just to relax. But I always have a strong desire to win. Probably only have total of 50-75K hand history in NLHE online, slight winner but likely biased to more play pre-UIGEA.

Since I'm really just starting to figure out NLHE I find myself playing TAGish, ABC probably bordering on nitty.

Local B&M room is standard mix of 2ish knowledgeable regs per table and relatively standard B&M-fare for rest of table.

Sorry for the long-winded set-up.

Sitting at 3-5 game. 9-handed.

Hero ($670) - playing TAG (but probably perceived as more weak-tight since two good young LAGs at table have kept remarking on Heros nittiness despite attempts to blend into the furniture), not taken down any large pots in 2 hours since sitting down with full 100BB BI. Just a few standard raise and C-bet flops. Hero has prob c-bet 75% of the time, checking when woefully OOP multi-way or on a few very wet boards

Villain 1 ($700ish) - been playing very loose pre but passive post. Has been straddling to very high amounts (4-6X BB straddles), V1 is racking up to leave and his ride/life coach is sweating the hand

Villain 2 (Covers) - older guy, but relatively LAGgy. Definitely capable of bluffing, running good at the moment, but seems positionally aware, and aware of Hero's image

On to the hand

V1 straddles UTG to $30
Hero raises in MP to $75 (standard raise of these oversized straddle has been 2X by others) with AdQd
V2 calls from SB
V1 calls

Flop ($230 in pot) comes:
Q 10 J rainbow with one diamond

V1 donks for $100
V2 folds
Hero calls $100 with slight delay

I didn't think V1's range was super wide here when he donks. He knows I'm not an automatic C-Bet and have checked a few super wet boards. I figured I'm really only ahead of KQ or A10 or AJ or of course a bluff

Plan was to probably fold turn UI

Turn ($430 in pot)

2 of diamonds, giving Hero Top pair, gutshot, and nut flush draw

V1 bets $300 with limited hesitation

Hero tanks and . . . .

Again, I'm just really getting started with live NLHE and transitioning from other games. Maybe this is super standard. But it seemed like a pretty gross spot to me. It's seems pretty thin to call/stack-off, whether or not a Q on the river is a live out to me seems important.

I probably suck, but thought I'd come here to learn/get advice

Sorry I got the action wrong

on the flop

V2 donks, V1 folds

throughout rest of hand Villian is V2 not V1. I don't know how to edit OP.
