We played last night, again, and 4 players got all in on the last hand of the night. No one had a pair bigger than 88. It is more common than not, and literally, the range on this hand for most of the players in the game is anything they would limp pre flop with.
Shoving in the last hand is "gambling." It is as simple as that, nothing more.
You said it yourself, villains are capable of shoving with ANY TWO CARDS, so there's no point assigning ranges, and therefore you can't really estimate equity.
You can do the random hands analysis that I did few pages back, but even then, as you can see, it is STILL A GAMBLE.
People might have nothing, or two of them might wake up with bigger pocket pairs.

I ran another quick calculation on PkrCruncher.
Your equity against 5 random players without assigning any range or cards is at somewhere around 24%.
If I put 1 over-card on the board, the equity drops down to 19 - 19.5%.
2 and it's down to 16%, 13% if two of those over-cards are of another suit.
So bottom line, if you don't hit a set, you are unlikely to win the hand.
It's a gamble, admit it and move on.
