I wasn't real surprised I got a C+ considering I basically botched an entire position at TE... but it still might turn out OK. Go go starting UDFAs strat~

ShipCalledFantasize parlayed a solid draft slot (fifth overall) into a respectable performance. With a mark of 8-5-0 (1,526 points), they're projected to finish fourth in LLSNL Ballas! League. ShipCalledFantasize loaded up on ballcarriers early, using three of their first five picks to scoop up RBs Ray Rice (first round), Steven Jackson (second round), and Ryan Mathews (fifth round). In conjunction with that drafting strategy, they ended up with one of the best trios of RBs in the league.
The Season Ahead
Week 8 is shaping up to be a tricky one for ShipCalledFantasize. Among all weeks this season, it has both their largest number of players (5) and projected fantasy points on bye. They have the toughest slate in LLSNL Ballas! League when factoring in opponents' projected points. In addition to having the most grueling overall schedule, ShipCalledFantasize also has the second-toughest first four games of the season. A soft stretch might begin in Week 8, when ShipCalledFantasize plays projected bottom-tier teams for three games in a row.
Draft Notes Strongest Position: ShipCalledFantasize has two positional units projected to beat their slot's league average, WR (by 9.3%) and RB (6.4%).
On Autopilot: Picking starting RBs should be an academic exercise most weeks for ShipCalledFantasize, as there's a healthy projected points difference between their third-ranked (Ryan Mathews) and fourth-ranked (BenJarvus Green-Ellis) RBs.
No Country for Old Men: With an average of 7.4 years of NFL experience, ShipCalledFantasize is the oldest team in the league.
Don't Rock the Boat: ShipCalledFantasize was focused on a steady squad, grabbing nine consistent players out of 14 picks.
Mr. Irrelevant: ShipCalledFantasize may know something no one else does, grabbing Isaac Redman, who is on a squad in less than 10% of all Yahoo! leagues (2%).
A Pair of Winners: ShipCalledFantasize has a couple of proven fantasy champs in their lineup. Across all Yahoo! leagues last season, two of their players (Ray Rice and Reggie Wayne) finished among the top 20 in percentage of times on a first-place roster.
Since that was my first draft ever I did a $100 Yahoo standard 10-team Pro League just to be a little more satisfied with the results (plus two fantasy teams seems manageable). I ended up with a ridiculous monster:
QB1 - Ryan
RB1 - Lynch
RB2 - Jackson/Sproles
WR1 - Bryant
WR2 - Cruz
WR3 - Steve Smith/Britt/Hopkins/Little
TE - Vernon/Fred Davis
K - Matt Bryant
D - 49ers/Cardinals
I promptly changed my team name to Ship It to Shorty.
I wish I could say that I was a big enough man to keep our league sacrosanct from today's forum e-splosions... but I'm not. To my credit, apparently neither was someone else.
