Hero - BB €650
UTG - €500
BTN - €450

UTG has been loose, raising many hands, then cbetting 1/4-1/3 pot close to 100%.

BTN has been quiet, haven't really seen him do anything noteworthy.

Hero dealt: T️9

UTG raises to €14, 4 call €14, Hero calls €12.

Flop $84 [7️ 9️ 2️]

UTG bets €12, 3 folds, BTN calls, Hero???

Calling isn’t horrible. Raising is interesting. You can fold out a lot of equity in the form of overcards. And you have some decent backdoor equity in the rare case someone has a better nine.

I feel that V's hand here is filled with overcards and probably middle suited connector, and all of them have missed the flop. The problem with calling flop cbet is hero is giving V chances to hit their overcards. Assuming that a overcard comes OTT, how would UTG respond? How about BUTT? You mentioned that butt has been quiet, so, im assuming they are pretty nitty or at least weak tight. Btw, I don't like the preflop call with T9s because it puts us in a vulnerable position postflop should we hit. If we hit a draw, it's easy to play but the problem is we don't hit a draw or even twopair+ enough times to make it easy for us. So, just fold T9s preflop OOP, and you won't have problems as we see here now

I probably pump this up to €50 or so. UTG is leading here with a wide range that you're ahead of (7x, missed overs) and BTN is getting pretty well priced in for gutshots, over cards, pretty much anything. If you get a call, which I think is unlikely, I'd lead for €80 on most turns, especially 8s and s. However, if BTN just calls a raise, I'd be much warier.

I'll be honest, when i read that you didn't like the PF call, I did a double take to check and see if this was GobbledyGeek.

I would consider it carefully preflop, in the first place.
- Do I want to get involved in this pot?
- Do I have enough info on either of these players?
- Since I have decided to play it, though, I would never call OOP there, and I'm quite deep, 325BB, I don't want a reg to have an opportunity to exploit me.
So, once again, assuming that I've chosen to play this hand (which I wouldn't), I'd do it so:
-> For all I know, UTG is LAG and he seems the only player I'd like to be involved here, so I'd 3bet big, let's say 4.5x, that's 63$. Let's say UTG calls, BU calls. So, we've got 220$ in the middle now (587$ behind). I'd bet slightly over 1/2 pot, around 120$ on this particular flop, and then, depending on how Villain acts, I get an easy decision whether to go on with this hand, or not. Of course, in case BU doesn't lay it down here, I know exactly where I'm standing, so I'm not willing to invest any more money in this pot. On the other hand, if UTG calls and BU folds, I need a hell of a turn to decide to go all in. That would be any 8's, any T's and any ️clubs. Otherwise, I'd check-fold and never play suited connectors OOP again {lmao}.
