Buyin is $200, and I'm hoping to cap entires at 16. If it seems like we can get 32 then it will be considered.

I'm also considering creating lines for both overall winner and individual matches. I may play the "house" on this one, or just make general lines that people can use to bet against each other, I'll have to give it consideration. If anyone wants to help me on this (Keli, Epip? I saw a movie that said Jews are good at making lines) or share action as the "house", again contact me via PM.

I'll take entires first come first serve, and update this thread as I see fit until entries are capped. I will then proceed to e-mail stars and hopefully get private tables set up. Matches will be in a best of 5 format, and you may play up to three tables at a time, although if either contestant wants to one-table this must be honored. There will be a deadline for each round (usually a 7 day frame barring holiday situations), and all matches must be played on the same day.

It would also be reasonable to use this thread to discuss on whether or not we should make it a rule that matches must be observed by at least one participant not directly involved in the match. This will ensure play is fair and hopefully dissuade any possible chip dumping/cheating.

Any questions or further suggestions appreciated below.

Also, I'm willing to escrow the funds if you trust me. Belok and others can reference reputability, plus its not too hard to find me and kill me if I screw you etc. If there's any issue with it I'm sure we can find a mutually trusted escrow.

in and yea side betting on these matches should be fun, i'll def be down but one tabling is pretty gay imo should at least have to be 2 (personally i'd like at least 3) to avoid this taking forever.

It really isn't hard to play 3 tables of hu at the same time...

I do love the best of 5 though.

Second, I understand that 3 at a time is np, and I assume most players will mutually agree to do this, however if a contestant is set on playing one at a time, I feel this should be honored. I expect most people to be fine with multi-tabling however.

If stars opens the private tables, I'm hoping for 300bb deep 5/10 no blind increase matches.

I believe this is the previous 2p2 standard, but I'm open to suggestions (and hopefully Stars is too?)

And honestly, if you can't handle playing 3 hu tables at a time you shouldn't enter the tourny, considering it's filling up really fast and there is obviously plenty of demand...pretty much everyone is capable of multitabling, and I'll be playing at least 20 tables while playing this tourny, so if I can do that I don't see how it's unreasonable for others to be playing 3 hu tables.

PS: No problems with you escrowing the money, even if you decide to play in it...from me anyway.

haha yea I just pmed u but again everyone is postin in this thread now , but in addition to what I pmed u, I thought it would be best of 5 100bb matches, and while I have no problem with best of 5 300bb matches it just makes it that much more obvious we need to put 3 tables as the min considering 1 tabling 300bb best of 5 is ridiculous.

but, in lieu of rethinking. yeah 2-table at a time minimum should be in effect. we'll go on the honor system and say noone will be cowardly enough to demand 1 table, and shooting for 3 at a time should be good (this way if someone 2-1's, a call for 1-tabling the final should be alright imo.)

Yeah imo I kinda like 200bb best of 5 better than 300bb best of 5 considering how long it will take i'll prob get sick of 300bb with no escalating blinds and just start shoving randomly.

Payouts are tentatively scheduled to be 2,400 for 1st, and 800 for 2nd.

If we get 32 will probably look to pay out 4 spots.

Yeah I prob won't end up playing but I def think you should pay 4 places (somethin like 4th gets their money back and 3rd gets a little more, so that you have a 3rd/4th place game and not just a finals to generate even more side betting opportunities for us/plus make it more interesting )

I think 55-30-15 with 4th getting their money back is good. Basacally take 4th's money out of the prize pool so the total prize pool will be 3000 and divide it up 55-30-15 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Also pretty sure too easy should make a custom bracelet for the winner and ship it to them (ok that last part was a joke).

8bi for a win seems weak but if its generally wanted i have np i suppose.
