I wanted to c/r the turn, but no one bet. I also wanted to see if anyone would value bet a Q with mid kicker or try to buy off the pot.
But you're definitely right, I need to learn to fold TPTK, and start searching for Sets/Flush/Straights in these cash games
These games where people call large raises with weak hands are very profitable. I would suggest tightening up your raise to AQ+, TT+ and raise to 8 to 10bb or so. Things can get tough if you're super deep but that's poker. This will set up a low SPR if stacks are 100bb or less and you get lots of value while you have the best hand pre so you can safely stack off.
Hand 1: I didn't see the straddle. After a bunch of limpers here, I'd raise to $35 pre. If they all fold, GREAT you just picked up ~$25 variance free. If they all call, great, you flop TP+ 33% of the time and can stack off safely.
Dont rely on people to bet their hands for you, esp on turn. Most people have a wide calling range but much narrower betting range. Bet turn ALWAYS here. Don't learn just to fold. You gotta BET FOLD. Bet for value cause they call with so much worse and bet fold to a raise cause they have a narrow raising range
