We need to know effective stacks. After 3+ limpers, I would raise to $15 to $20 pre, leaning towards higher side with hands like JJ-99, AQ+ and leaning towards $15 with QQ+. You really want to get it heads up or down to two calls at most.

Learn to bet fold bet fold TPTK+ for flop and turn and sometimes river. Hand 2 bet turn all day. Hand 1: bad flop for you. Easy fold to CR. No draws out there and hard to see AJ or worse CR but all sorts of two pairs and KT beat you.

Hero in CO (stack size~280) with AKo,
3-4 limps to the 5$ straddle, I raise to 12$, Bttn(V1, stack size ~330) calls and SB(V2 stack size ~450) calls, rest fold.

Hero????

-------------------

Reads: SB is old man, just got to the table not too long ago. He's been involved in some pots and has had up and down swings already, been playing quite a few hands. I put him on a wide range, maybe a little call-station'y, possible tilt from losing a good hand about 2-3 hands prior
UTG+3 has been profitable all night. Very LAG player, he's sometimes the only pre flop raiser and pops it to 20 with any good range.

Hero in CO (stack size ~ 450) with AQo, Hero raise to 12$ after 4 limpers, SB (stack size ~ 250) calls, UTG +3 (stack size ~500-600) calls, rest fold

In this 1/2 NL there was minimal fold equity pre-flop. 5bb, 10bb, 15bb preflop were being called regularly by more than 1 person. So I thought 6bb was good enough to contribute to the pot for SPR and provide the effect of raising and being the aggressor

I wanted to c/r the turn, but no one bet. I also wanted to see if anyone would value bet a Q with mid kicker or try to buy off the pot.
But you're definitely right, I need to learn to fold TPTK, and start searching for Sets/Flush/Straights in these cash games

Thanks for the feedback!

These games where people call large raises with weak hands are very profitable. I would suggest tightening up your raise to AQ+, TT+ and raise to 8 to 10bb or so. Things can get tough if you're super deep but that's poker. This will set up a low SPR if stacks are 100bb or less and you get lots of value while you have the best hand pre so you can safely stack off.

Hand 1: I didn't see the straddle. After a bunch of limpers here, I'd raise to $35 pre. If they all fold, GREAT you just picked up ~$25 variance free. If they all call, great, you flop TP+ 33% of the time and can stack off safely.

Dont rely on people to bet their hands for you, esp on turn. Most people have a wide calling range but much narrower betting range. Bet turn ALWAYS here. Don't learn just to fold. You gotta BET FOLD. Bet for value cause they call with so much worse and bet fold to a raise cause they have a narrow raising range

Second hand is kind of strange. Reckon youre supposed to keep barreling the turn. I'd probably flip a coin. Not sure I can see him betting $100 with KQ. Also not positive how river can be a brick, unless it was exactly a 2. Everything else makes a straight or could make a hand like q10 qj into a stronger 2 pair
