so it's late sat. night 7 handed 2/5 table, ur typical crazy post-12am weekend table.
1(tight image) limp, i raise to 30 with kj cutoff, BO(maniac) calls, SB (tight) limper(loose) calls.
flop KJ2hh, chks to me i bet 70, sb call everyone else fold. he covers me.
turned 4s, he chk/raises my 165 bet to 385....

the question is, will you bet the turn once chked to you? (so you can bluff catch/value bet river) if you do bet, how do you respond the raise... maybe i bet something like 120 on turn?

second hand bb vs straddler 1200+ deep.
everyone fold, sb call, i call in bb a3 off, straddler chk (semi-reg, capable bluff/ good hand reading)
flop a35 rainbow, sb chk, i chk (dont ask me why i chk), straddler bet 15, sb fold i raise to 45, he flats.
turned 6 rainbow still, i bet 90, he tank/called.
river 9, still rainbow, would you bet or chk/call? and if you chk, villain bets 185, what you do?

ps, i been trying to adjust a bit by turning a lot of value hand where we would normally bet for value online into bluff catch on live table

Hand 1: You have top 2 pair on a board with draws, I'm betting that all day. You didn't really give a good description of the check raiser other than "tight image", but he'd have to be super passive postflop for me to not want to get it in here.

Hand 2: I'm betting ~1/2 pot on the river. There's not to many busted draws that he might bluff with and he likely checks back 1 pair hands. Bet for value.

+1
I agree with both.
Hand 1- I prob wouldn't stack off on a dry board but this is a good spot pending a better read on sb.

Hand 2- bet/fold river. Need to go for value here.
