2-5NL live game.

I raise after two MP limpers with 66 to $25. Blinds fold, limpers call. I have about $600, MP1 about $300, MP2 about $500. No strong reads, lots of fairly tight players. Flop cbets are taking lots of pots down. Both MPs could have medium suited connectors, medium to low pocket pairs, or Ax, KQ, KJ, etc.

Flop is:
A66

Checks to me. Do I bet here? (I decide to check). I don't see either players making a move on me if I do bet - I think an ace will call, any other hands fold. I think even an ace with a medium kicker might fold if I put out a strong bet.

Turn is:
K

Perfect card for me if someone does have the ace, checks to me again. I stupidly check (I know this was a very idiotic move). I'm not very sure what size bet is correct.

River is:
2

MP1 bets $30, MP2 folds. I raise to $130. MP1 nearly insta-calls. Do I make a huge overbet here? (I know I really messed up my opportunities by checking the turn).

Yeah I would bet maybe 1/2 pot on the turn to try and build a pot to get max value on the turn because if they do not have a hand by the time the king comes on the turn, it is unlikely that the river will make them a hand. Checking the flop is correct but a 1/2 sized bet on the turn looks pretty weak you will be called/raised by suspecting villians.

I'd check flop, bet $30 (~1/2 pot) on turn hoping I might get raised by a weak ace and bet on river for as much value as possible (probably $120, ~pot size bet).

You have to bet either the flop or turn .... pot isn't going to get big otherwise

uhhhhh you messed it up. You're probably not gonna get too much value if the table is tight but with the nuts you want to get stacks in if possible - can't do that if you check 2 streets lol.

Bet, Bet, Raise, Bet, bet.... shove ... thats all you should be doing. Hope they have enough of a piece to call you. If they don't have a big piece you're prolly not getting paid anyway.

Hard to get paid off when you flop quads since you usually have the deck pretty much crippled. I would bet that flop (3+ way)since a weak to medium ace is definitely a hand some weaker 2/5 Live players will limp with OOP.
