Villain bb $425 - asain male mid- late 20's. tag, relatively straight forward image. capable of overplaying hands.

Preflop $7
H open to $20 A

Hj call
V call

Flop $62 A

V leads $20
H raise to $80
Hj fold
V 3bets all in
H ?

Not exactly happy, but I'm not folding top two here for less then 100BB. A set of aces or queens is just to unlikely given your hand and preflop play. A set of tens or straight are not likely given the play. The small donk and then shove is more likely a draw of some sort. Something like JsTs seems the most likely hand.

I'd say you would be up against spades/gutterball type hands more often than not with the donk/blocking bet.

If 10s or KJ so be it IMO.

You can't fold for 80bb's. If you got cooled that sucks but he can have a bunch of worse two pairs and pair + flush draw or gutter hands that you can never fold. We block AA and QQ so if he flopped bottom set good for him.

OP, what was your plan when you raised the flop donk bet?

If you don't like your hand enough to gii on this flop you should just call the donk bet.

As played, I am happy to gii vs V with top 2 on this board.

Kind of absurdly unfoldable. If we're beat it's a cooler. V surely takes this line with AT/QT, which by themselves justify a call even balanced against sets and KJ, and given the way villain played this hand all sorts of combos (of the TsJs variety) are in the picture as well. Plus you'll occasionally see players just spazz out with like A7 here. Plus we're not even drawing dead when we did hit that cooler. In no point in the history of the universe is this even remotely possibly a fold for 80bb.
