But in general, this is a losing play. You are too focused on the "I'm getting 5:1 odds" without understanding what your equity is when you start out a hand vs 5 villains!!!.
Use poker stove, throw in AK vs 5 villains with a random garbage range.
Then throw in the flop and turn and then hit enter.
Your equity is under 8%
getting 5:1 on your money isn't enough...
Not everyone at the table was so terrible, but the three villains in this hand were particularly bad, especially V3. Personally I think LLSNL is all about maximally exploiting bad players. So yeah, winning the Special Olympics, crushing really, is what I'm after when I play. I make a point to beat the better players too, but that's not as important.
As to the rest of what you've said: Your point is well taken... *BUT* I was up against 3 villains (not 5), and I had position, and all had weak ranges based on action.
