Sunday night in local 2/5 10 handed game.Hero is a solid tag but has a losing image due to early suck out. Villian is a young regular lag and calls a lot preflop. We have a hand history in this session early(BT villain straddles, 3 calls, hero raises $70 with JJ. Only this guy calls on straddle. Hero c/c $140 and c/f on K363 rainbow board when villian bets $350. Villian shows me one king after).
Effect stack:
Villain : $1.8k
Hero: $1.3k
Mp: 1.4k
MP lag raises $25, hero in HJ 3bet with AdQh to $85, villian in CO flat cold calls $85,MP calls.
Flop($$250): Qc 9c 7d
MP checks, hero bets $140, villian calls, mp calls
Turn($770): 9s. MP checks, hero bets $300, Villian announces all in loudly, MP folds, hero has about $800 remaining. Hero?

prob not folding bc he would likely 4! his AA and KK pf if he is a lag, he could have some FD's some SD's and some QX here, you only lose to 9X, QQ, and 77

I was already stuck $1500. Does he really shove into 2 players with draws on paired board? He is a regular and not a donkey player post. I see many players flat with KK and AA recently. Also, MP is well known sticky loose old guy in this room.

Not folding, too many draws out and turn is a scare card. What are we supposed to make of his loud announcement? Was it medium loud or extra loud?

This is live read dependent. Depends whether he’d flat KK+ pre and his body language when calling preflop. I could go either way but it depends on info we don’t have.

Think it’s ok to fold here, id personally insta muck this deep. 3-way ott it’s a bit suicidal for him to bluff and he should be more incentivized to call with draws so the person behind can flat too and thus increase his pot odds/IO.

Ott you’re basically at the bottom of your value betting range so it’s not bad to just fold here from a theory/minimum defense frequency POV (you have very few draws here anyway and your draws shoudl either be checking flop or turn so you rly should have no draws here when you dbl barrel with the 9’pairing).

Given the configuration I think draws would likely flat turn to give the loose MP a chance to come along. Villain is loose pre, so there are quite a few combos of 9X hands in that range (J9/T9/98/97). Hero blocks AA, and would KK take this line – flatting pre, AI on turn behind AA/QQ? Feels like 9X.

B/F turn seems right.

Well you did label him as a lag so I think he would be capable of bluffing and if he has a wide range pre then he could be turning a lot of those combos into a bluff; I know if I had a lag image im def 4 betting my KK+ here;

feels more like 9X if it is for value

LAGs dont usually bluff into opponents' strong range. They attack when shown weakness. This guy can also flat with AQ which is the bottom of his range here.I sight folded and felt good.Losing about $3k one night would be a disaster for me.So I topped up, moved on and ended up winning $450 for the night.

In for the fold, but this is golden for the record.

our flop bet seems small. Shouldnt we be betting $200+? (wet board... 3 ways... etc etc)
