Playing 2/5 at local charity room for about 3 hours. Villain is a known LAG player, loves to limp pre and call raises with ATC.
In a previous hand today, V bluffed another player off of an overpair with a large river bet on a 54426 board. V showed A5o.
Couple hands ago, V ($1000) limps utg, hero (covers) opens to $25 in CO with JJ, btn calls, V calls.
Flop($80) 3c4h7d V checks, Hero bets $35, btn folds, V calls.
Turn($150) Ah V checks, Hero checks.
River($150) Qs V checks, Hero bets $60 for thin value. V calls with Q5o. (Maybe I should have just checked back here)
OTTH
A couple orbits later, Hero (covers) dealt AKo UTG opens to $25, CO calls, V ($1000) calls btn.
Flop($80) KdTh7d Hero bets $50, CO folds, V calls.
Turn($180) 7h Hero bets $100, V tanks for a little bit, counts out calling chips, then raises to $250. Hero?
Thoughts: V is very loose, but is a competent player. He seems more likely to raise the flop with hands like TT, 77, KT, T7, K7, since the board is so draw heavy. Folding seems bad since V is a very loose aggressive player, but there are many bad cards for me if I just call.
Call and call most rivers .. he reps only 7x but is way more capable than just raising 7x given the description OP gave us. In general we should trap vs this guy a lot OOP for a) pot control and b) spew value ..
Call since there's so many draws out there. Diamond draws, heart draws, straight draws around the K and T, straight draws around the T and 7. Plan on calling most rivers. Sure, he could have a 7, but that's only a small part of his range in this spot.
