Played with villian many times.
He has 750 and i have 400 to start.
i am MP1. Table has been raising. Not much limpimg. I have As 6s. I limp to see what will happen behind me. Every one limps.
Villian first to act.
Flop comes 7s 7c ks.
He bets 50. I'm next and i call with limpers behind but they all fold.
Since i have played with him before I know he has a 7.
Turn brings an 8s.
Villian bets 100. I know he sees flush
Shove or fold?

Dont Chase flushes on a paired board.

Hero knows Villain has a 7, so 9

, 8

are all RIO outs for us. Leaving 5 clean outs at best, Villain may have flopped full.

As played if you are going to chase, call with position.

+1. I'm never calling a flush draw if I know my villian has trips. If you hit your flush, any future bets from him will put you in a horrible situation.

If you know your villian always sees the flush, then let's think why he is betting:

either he thinks you have a queen/overpair and he has trips OR

he has boated and is valuebetting OR

he doesn't know what you have and wants to info bet/ blocker bet for a boat draw.

Which do you think is most likely?

because villain is competent, sees the flush, could easily put OP on flush draw, and then pot-sized bet the turn. It smells like a gin card to me.

Agree on not betting flush draw on paired board. I had 5 invested. Especially since I knew he had a 7.
