Wild home game. Open raises to $50 sometimes. I just lost a huge pot when I ran a set of jacks into a flopped straight, we ran it three times and the board didn't pair once (but it did put a straight in the board once so I got 1/6 of the pot).

I have $225 after that hand and everyone at the table has me covered. Both villains are loose and will play a very wide range hands from any position. They are going to call any size raise I make short of a shove.

V2 is the game host, in for 2K and has limped premiums before hoping for raises. He's also back raised with pairs like 77. He will never fold a flush draw in the flop for any amount. I am probably viewed as nitty. Earlier in the night I pulled off a big bluff vs another player at the table (check/raise turn and shoved river) and after villain in that hand (who is probably a winning player) tank folded, V2 said "he had the stone cold nuts". I also called V2 down with ace high after betting into him for two streets and my hand was good- he was clearly frustrated with that but he's not one to hold grudges. Obviously my image is unlucky after the set vs straight hand.

I am in MP with ATo.

Action: Button straddle to $20
V1 in BB calls
V2 in UTG+1 calls.
I am in MP and raise to $60.

I realize that $60 might seem low, but I was trying to gain initiative, juice the pot, and prevent anyone from behind me raising without a real hand. I was planning to play fit or fold on the flop and expecting to usually have the best of it when stacks went in. I don't think either player is going to fold TP or an ace for a PSB, and AT is ahead of both players ranges. I didn't want to raise more in case someone behind woke up with a premium.

Folds to V1 who calls
V2 shoves.
I call $165 to win $360.

Would you guys do anything different? Shove pre, or just limp behind perhaps?

with the straddle on and your stack you have about 11BB so i fold or shove pre, limping seems like a pretty poor idea

Fold pre or shove. With the straddle in play, you don't have enough money for anything else, you can't win enough when you do hit to justify juicing the pot. Given that your not likely to get everybody to fold from middle position, this hand probably isn't strong enough to play.

As played, it is purely a question of what range you put V2 shoving on. My read is that it's ugly but fold is better. You have to put V2 on a really big range here for calling to be profitable. The only things your really getting pots odds against here are bluffs, and even a lot of bluffs are nearly even.

Since you have the read that he will limp reraise as light as 77, then I think you have to call. 77 marks about the top 10% of hands. You have about 38% equity vs the top 10% of hands. You are being laid 325 to 165 which means u need at least 34% equity. So it's a call. If you could put him on a tighter range then it's a fold.
