CO nit limps
BTN limps

BTN is semi-LAG, older Asian, and a big fish. He’s playing almost every hand and doesn’t like to fold.

Hero’s image is very aggressive. I tried to triple barrel him earlier but ran into a big hand.

Hero limps SB with JTss
BB LAG raises to 20
CO calls
BTN calls
Hero calls

Pot 80

Flop As Jh 6s

Hero checks
BB bets 20
CO folds
BTN calls
Hero calls

Pot 140

Turn Ks

Hero checks
BB checks
BTN bets 25
Hero raises to 125
BB folds

BTN tanks. Then he tosses four green chips forward in front of his cards for the call. Then he pulls his four green chips back. Then after a few moments, he puts them on top of a stack of reds and pushes the stack forward for a raise to 225.

I firmly tell the dealer three times that it’s a string raise. He says he didn’t see anything. I should’ve had him call the floor over. But I let it go.

Hero calls

Pot 590

River 3d

Hero checks
BTN shoves for 550

Hero?

Vs a fish I think I have to call here as he can have a ton more lower combos than a typical solid or tighter player would have and would also easily overvalue them as well. Like he could play a 9s8s this way easily.

Which flush should he have and play this way with the Qs? All the big cards are impossible…

This is a snap call, high five the dealer spot. If V has Q2-9 then he also has a **** ton of other lower flushes that limp/called OTB. Never considering a fold here until V shows me the Q flush.

My first instinct was to fold because of the min 3-bet on the turn followed by a pot-sized shove on the river. I tanked, got the clock called on me (I never get the clock called on me), and eventually called. He had the nuts: Q7ss.

It's a clear call given our history. But I was really annoyed by the string bet.

Everyone is 200bb deep?

I think I raise everywhere. Like open raise but if not 3bet backraise when nit just calls ... when "LAG" bets flop and another LAG calls then it's bombs away there too.

I can understand why you are tilted by the string bet on the turn, given the result, but he should have way more KxQs/QsJx and worse flushes than nut flushes so I either shove turn or call and pray for a non spade river so I can snap call.

Even though he's a little aggressive, I don't think he's the type to bluff with just the Qs. I can only bank on him overplaying a weaker hand.
