3 villains.
#1 is sb new to table 2nd orbit not much reads except that he bought in for $500 and has like $450. He's wearing sunglasses so could be one of these online guys I'm hearing about.
#2 mp is solid asian guy 30-40ish. fairly tight. His stack is like ~$300.
#3 otb. Older guy tilted off most of his stack since I arrived at table like 2 hours ago. He had ~$500-600 now down to <$100. Looks about ready to toss it all in and hit the pike.
Hero in co with ~$1000 covering all villains in hand. I pick up QcQd in co and raise a few limpers to $50 straight.
Button calls with like $25-30 behind.
Sb calls. mp calls. All others fold.
Flop is 8d4d3h. 2 checks I bet $125. Button goes all in for less. Sb tanks for at least 2 min. and calls with ~$300 behind. Asian guy in mp snap-shoves. WTF?
Hero?
all advice appreciated. TY
Better reads on the tight asian guy would be helpful here, but provided you have reason to believe he can show up with not a set here, I don't see how this isn't a get it in and pray spot with such a ridiculous amount of dead money in there already.
You should be good at the moment against the SB a fair amount of the time and if you win the side pot it'll offset the money you lose to whoever wins the main pot in this shove fest. Plus you're going to have the best hand (at the moment at least) a non-zero amount of the time here.
Pre and flop are fine of course. Embrace Variance, get it in, and spike a Q on the turn. If Villain's are calling 10bb pre with small pocket pairs and set mining, they're going to give the money back eventually anyway.
