2/5 game at PARX rockin game and place is packed on Thurs./Fri.
3 villains.
#1 is sb new to table 2nd orbit not much reads except that he bought in for $500 and has like $450. He's wearing sunglasses so could be one of these online guys I'm hearing about.
#2 mp is solid asian guy 30-40ish. fairly tight. His stack is like ~$300.
#3 otb. Older guy tilted off most of his stack since I arrived at table like 2 hours ago. He had ~$500-600 now down to <$100. Looks about ready to toss it all in and hit the pike.
Hero in co with ~$1000 covering all villains in hand. I pick up QcQd in co and raise a few limpers to $50 straight.
Button calls with like $25-30 behind.
Sb calls. mp calls. All others fold.
Flop is 8d4d3h. 2 checks I bet $125. Button goes all in for less. Sb tanks for at least 2 min. and calls with ~$300 behind. Asian guy in mp snap-shoves. WTF?
Hero?
all advice appreciated. TY

Shove and lose to a flush/straight/set while hoping that you at least win the side pot versus sb and being thankful that the next biggest stack was only 450 to start.

Is $50 a normal raise for you? I feel like you're making the same mistake I made with AA.

In this spot, it's a pretty clear fold. I am almost ready to give up my Q/Q unimproved when 3 people called my oversized 10BB raise preflop. Draw heavy board, and you're never that far ahead to flush draw + another whatever draw, and a shorter stack who just called off about 1/3 of his chips and will likely be calling over the $150 or so more, especially if you just flat.

Q/Q in 4 way unimproved = loser for sure.

I don't think I would bet $125 on the flop...I'll probably check and let button go all-in and evaluate from there.

Idk about this game, but the games that I play there is no guarantee that the BTN will go all-in. If a player is willing to just call with that much behind pre-flop, than he can probably check behind this flop. Do we really want to give everyone a free card?

Like I said, I wouldn't raise pre-flop 10BB, unless I do it with some sort of frequency and wide range.

Really? Fold? It's $125 to me into a ~$700 pot. In my mind the question is raise or call. But I guess that's why I posted this hand. At this point idk if I'm good enough to fold here.

I would go all in and be fairly happy to do so. Also the hand was played perfectly.

Better reads on the tight asian guy would be helpful here, but provided you have reason to believe he can show up with not a set here, I don't see how this isn't a get it in and pray spot with such a ridiculous amount of dead money in there already.

You should be good at the moment against the SB a fair amount of the time and if you win the side pot it'll offset the money you lose to whoever wins the main pot in this shove fest. Plus you're going to have the best hand (at the moment at least) a non-zero amount of the time here.

Pre and flop are fine of course. Embrace Variance, get it in, and spike a Q on the turn. If Villain's are calling 10bb pre with small pocket pairs and set mining, they're going to give the money back eventually anyway.

Hero bloating pot and then having to cbet huge + villains stack make this a call. We have induced Asian to shove with any of hands he wants to continue with.

I do not like the creation of spots where we close off our options. And don't worry, the Asian guy will shove any FD+gutty to this sized cbet.

as much as I am not a I had to call due to pot odds type of guy this is a spot where the pot is so big in relation to the stacks and you are getting like 6-1 on a call here + there is a chance you have the best hand here makes this a pretty easy call. I mean you built a big pot vs small stacks flopped an over-pair you cant really hope for a much better spot.
